St. Columba’s BNS has a proud history and a strong tradition in sport.

We are extremely fortunate to be located beside Douglas GAA, who generously allow us access to their excellent facilities. This close connection provides our pupils with valuable opportunities to participate in a wide range of sporting activities in a high-quality setting.

Each year, our pupils proudly represent the school in the Sciath na Scol Football and Hurling competitions, along with a variety of other inter-school blitzes held throughout the year, promoting teamwork, skill development, and a love of sport.
